Sara Ali Khan was born on August 12, 1993, Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. She belongs from Indian nawab family. Sarah is the elder daughter of famous Indian actor Saif Ali Khan and actress Amrita Singh. A well known Indian cricketer Mansoor Ali Khan is her grandfather and her grandmother on the other side is an Indian famous Bollywood actress Sharmila Tagore. Sarah also has a younger brother named Ibrahim Ali Khan and a half brother called Taimur Ali Khan Pataudi.

Sara’s parents got divorced in 2004 after being married for 13 years. Then in the year of 2012, her father Saif Ali Khan got married again to the Bollywood queen Kareena Kapoor. She treats her stepmother as a good friend & would love to go out shopping with her.
