This hobby is time consuming and expensive and while I don't do it for money I can't justify spending god knows how much each month to make videos I'll make 5$ out of, for this reason I'd like to ask many of the viewers, especially those that used to support me before with paypal to try learning how to use cryptocurrency, bitcoin or monero to be precise and consider supporting me that way, I get tens if not hundreds requests to accept credit card or set up fantopia where an easier solution exists and it allows you to doante to anyone, not just limited amount of creators that use fantopia and there is 0% risk some company will just freeze your money.
The reason why I won't set up fantopia is simple, they require accounts to be verified by sending them photo of your face and scans of your ID, something I'm not comfortable doing due to privacy concerns and the risk one takes by directily associating themselves with something so highly controversial as deepfakes.
I also speak for many other talented creators who only accept crypto now, it's an universal donation tool that just about everyone accepts, including many non for profit organizations and charities, this community would be better if we all came back here and stopped taking content outside, tokens system is also great as it lets you add funds once and spend on just scenes you like and it also helps our website because a small portion of each token spend goes towards maintaining website's server (I speak for the owner, I'm not the owner of this website or forum). I know change is hard and it's something new one has to learn but in the long it will be worth it as crypto has more and more users every day and one day fantopia may be forced to shut their doors on deepfake creators to prevent their credit card processing company to refuse serving them (they lost paypal already) or just outright be forced to reveal who those users are to proceed with legal action against them. Crypto is unlikely to ever disappear or control who can and cannot earn and spend it. Also think about it = fantopia does withdraws in crypto, most of creators that use fantopia actually use crypto, without crypto they would have to risk it with paypal or their bank directly.
